That's a mighty big if. The money that was supposed to be held in trust for SS has long ago been appropriated for vote buying. Any raising of taxes would just go into more of that

No stats, but eyeballing it seems we have more electric vehicles than the rest of the world combined. Nuke power plants, cheaper than coal plants, are springing up everywhere
