Hamburg passes tentative budget with 1 percent tax hike

The Hamburg School Board unanimously passed a tentative budget with a 1 percent tax increase for 2012-13 at its meeting Monday night.

Yeah let's raise taxes even more and push out incoming families looking to buy a house. Hopefully PA pushes through this garbage and finally sees that property and school taxes are hurting this state more than anything else.

..... Given that there is a need of surpluses instead of deficits, a few months ago I suggested that ALL tax rates be increased by 1% this year, and again by 1% next year.
