Wayne County pension shortfall increases to 50%

The Wayne County Retirement System has only half the cash it needs to cover future pensions after a worse year than officials expected, according to a preliminary report released Monday.

Someone should really take responsibility for this financial fiasco.and I think everyone knows who keeps spending like this is a rich county when of course quite the opposite is apparent.I keep telling people to compare this region to others of compareable or even larger size and see what their expenditures r and what packages and salaries the appointees r paid.
