Hey, I agree with him. Where else can you work and receive a pension that is so large and not have to worry about saving any of your own money for retirement? This is coming off our backs and needs to end. Simply working for the gov. in ANY capacity does not merit the benefits they receive. As for public safety personnel, there are statistically many more careers out there that are far far more dangerous even than our most dangerous gov. jobs and these people have to save their own hard earned money for retirement. They don't look to the tax payers to fund them!

It's NOT the employees fault since most of the city/county/government employees ARE middle class! How about we look at what this stupid state is actually doing with the money that us taxpayers are paying!! And let's not forget that the city employees are took a paycut and are also doing furlough days too. These people have families just like you and pay their taxes just like you. Their jobs aren't secure either ya know?

This is a bunch of crap.. Tehama county workers have to buy their own health insurance after retirement, and the average county worker is low to low middle class at best. Some full time workers have even qualified for low income housing in the past.

Stop printing/posting misleading information, grow up and be truthful or just go away...

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Taurus

The current planetary influences tend to make everyone groan a bit. Life is not perfect and may be less pleasant than usual, but what can you do? Get real for one thing! That's the way it is and once you accept this, everything becomes much easier to handle. Be solid and dutiful - qualities for which the Bull is renowned - and you'll come out the other side with your halo polished. Focus on some undeveloped potential in your life and take the first steps towards realising it.
