They haven't done SQUAT since being elected, and even a dem-o-rat Charlie Schumer caused the Indymac bank to fail in California, by opening up his big mouth cuasing a run on the bank. Sorry, I'm not buying it. McCain has his problems but he's a damn sight better than a left wing Lionel Jefferson who (bottom line) isn't qualified for the job. He's not old enough, he doesn't have the experience, he's never served in the military, etc.

McCain will win for ONE REASON: the Electoral College. That's what got Gore and Kerry and the same trends are shaping up right now for Obama. This is how the system works. This is why the Founders put it in place over two hundred years ago.

And there's nothing you can do about it.

Yes, Democrats took back Congress in 2006. Pelosi is really having a lot of success there right now with her nine percent approval rating in the House.

Obama is never going to carry two of three among Ohio, Pennsylvania and Florida when he was clearly weak in Florida and won five counties out of eighty eight in Ohio.

There's no way. You know it and I know it. The polling people know it. Bill Clinton knows it...that's why they lobbied so hard at the end of the primary for the superdelegate votes.

This isn't about Obama. It's about the way in which the Democratic party is organized: every little puke constituency has to have its ego massaged and they all think they're gonna sit at the campfire and sing kumbaya when that's not how politics in the big time really works.

That's the real reason Democrats get beat. It's not the candidate. It's the constituency. Democrats in this country lose for the same reason that New Democrats in Canada lose cycle after cycle. They're weak, emotionally handicapped little beings. They're nuts. They get pushed around in adulthood for the same reason they got pushed around in the schoolyard when they were children. They don't have any street smarts...and that has a cost.
