As long as the democrats keep taking advice from the GOP the economic crisis will continue. Austerity is another name for stealing from everyone and giving that money to the rich.

The extremely left-wing Los Angeles Times explains in 1999 that the CRA was passed to force banks to make risky loans.

Under Clinton, bank regulators have breathed the first real life into enforcement of the Community Reinvestment Act, a 20-year-old statute meant to combat “redlining” by requiring banks to serve their low-income communities. The administration also has sent a clear message by stiffening enforcement of the fair housing and fair lending laws.

…

In 1992, Congress mandated that Fannie and Freddie increase their purchases of mortgages for low-income and medium-income borrowers. Operating under that requirement,

Bush tried to fix the mess 5 times and was blocked by Dodd/Frank in the senate you stupid pathetic moron.

And guess what..........nobama is proposing we do the same thing...LMAO

Demrats and economics.....oil and water.

Through executive orders, Clinton set strict numerical lending targets for banks in “underserved” neighborhoods, while ordering regulators to crack down on alleged bank redlining.

The new rules for the first time mandated that banks use “innovative” or “flexible underwriting practices.” Compliance required banks to pass a heavily weighted “lending test” or suffer holds on expansion plans.

The CRA overhaul “has been a disaster,” said ex-BB&T CEO John Allison in his recent book on the financial crisis. He argued it’s forced “banks to participate in making high-risk housing loans to low-income buyers who would not meet traditional bank lending standards.”

You and don joe need to understand that the left's lies of blame Bush are washing under the bridge....as people are seeing the real culprit....the far left democrats that have ruined the party of JFK.

Over the last 50 years, the average tax rate for the wealthiest Americans has been cut in half. The rates for the middle class have drifted upward; the tax cuts passed by the Bush administration did nothing to stimulate growth in the economy over the last decade.
Fact is, there are huge numbers of high income people making more than $1 million yet paying $0 in federal income taxes. People across the political spectrum understand that our tax system falls way short of being fair! During our serious economic slump the top 10 percent have made huge gains in income while the middle class is left with table scraps.

And Uncle Tom Obama actually was a significant player in the Economic Meltdown from the GITGO with his suing Citibank, and forcing them to make unsecured loans.

"Barack Obama, lead Attorney for ACORN, successfully sued Citibank in 1994 under the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) forcing banks to initiate more sub-prime loans nationwide, helping fuel the Sub Prime Loan Disaster."

Buycks-Roberson v. Citibank - Lead Attorney Barack Obama

Docket / Court 94 C 4094 ( N.D. Ill.) FH-IL-0011

I truly wish the honorable Bush and magnificent Cheney were Back. These patriotic leaders of strength and honesty were a pillar of the American ingenuity. Bush was able to keep us sake for 8 years without a scratch during the most turbulent time in American history. He managed to take over and calm the savage beasts after Clinton left him with Bin Ladin and the 9/11 tragedy. If only he and he courageous genius Cheney could come back and save us from the current communist regime that will tax us into oblivion.

Check your notes. You are wrong about the surplus. And, since you want to talk about service records, please provide us Obama's or Biden's service records. It shouldn't take long to compile.
