"About six months ago, I wound up with this loan, I don't know how it happened, but I got so far behind there was no way to catch up," Sheila Golovich said."

It is very hard to imagine how a person of any age or circumstance could have "wound up with this loan". How does someone simply and suddenly just end up with a loan?

It is further hard to imagine how a person of any age or circumstance could be in a position where they, "don't know how it happened".

Why didn't her family, especially her children, help her in this matter rather than leave her in a such a vulnerable situation? It is just not right for her kids and grandkids to have allowed this to happen to the family matriarch.

It is extremely unfortunate that this good person is caught in this circumstance. I believe her when she says, "But I'm strong and I'll make it".

What's the purpose of this article? Are we supposed to feel sorry for someone so stupid that they re-finance their house two times then don't know what happened? Typical liberal TH article; quilt-trip everyone who has worked hard for what they have. How can ANYONE be so dense as to not know that when you borrow money you're supposed to PAY IT BACK..........

It also fails to mention how Nancy was arrested for elder abuse at that address on her MOTHER a few months back.

I bet they are pleased that the Times Herald aired their dirty laundry and generated all these positive stories.....

I really don't feel bad anymore - too bad, soo sad!

If the elder abuse claim is true, I hope she will be finding a nice place to live in jail.

This article is a mirror image for the city of Vallejo. Lots of hard work and history only to be lost because the city can't plan ahead and balance the check book. Maybe this family should call the mortgage company and tell them it isn't working out and they must lower the mortgage.

I bet Shively and Gomes had something to do with this.

Sorry, but there is more to this story and what is printed.

If the daughter has criminal problems, than there must be legal expenses.

I bet the daughter is on drugs as well.

Where did the money go?

I can think of a few places.

how could someone owe $450K on home? i feel sorry when someone gets foreclosed due to loss of job or major medical bills that prevent them from making mortgage payments....but this is just plain stupid.

Actually, I heard that it was Schivley and Gomes who drove the nails into Jesus hands after they hung him on the cross... these evil women... ;-)

I doubt that either one of these woman even "know" Jesus. Gomes would never have had an affair with a married man and caused the break up of his marriage if she had...

Some of this family are not crooks, but Bob did f**k his brothers and sisters in family real estate deals.
