Where are the grants for Sandy victims who rented for many years in Lavallette but now have NOTHING? Trying to purchase a home in Ocean county but the prices are prohibitive without some financial assistance. Where is help for long term renters to relocate? I am the Mother of a young couple who has been desperately trying to find a home that they can afford and to try to get their lives and privacy back... It's more than six months with no real answers and NO HELP?? Will Mrs. Christie's Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund issue grants to the RENTERS... A forgotten group???

Oh Puhleeeaase with the renter whine already. You have the joy of mobility and you did not lose your home. If you didnt insure your contents that is your fault. Get off your couch and do some work to help your situation - Move!! This country is on its knees because people like you want a dang handout at every turn. Go rent elsewhere and if its a longer commute or a new school - deal with it.

And why should the government help? Is this Russia, are we now a socialist state?

Yeah I am not worried about renters. People who owned their homes and can't get back need the grant money.
