They should sue Chris Dodd and the democrats for filibustering a bill that would have reigned in Fannie and Freddie and prevented the whole mortgage meltdown. The bill McCain co-sponsored to eliminate the graft at Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac. It’s on record as S. 190 [109th]: Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005. Chris Dodd (D) killed it. He received the most funds. The second-highest recipient of political funds siphoned off of this scandal was Barack Obama. You cannot blame this on Republicans when Democrats are flush with cash from it. Greed and mismanagement by the democrats is clear.

Don't forget Obama had his finger in that pie, suing banks in Chicago to lend to people that couldn't afford the loans.

Google "Obama sued for low income loans" and pick your preference. There is only a million + hits.

All I can say is WOW! You really have to be a low life creep to sue someone for doing you a favor.

You are always wrong.

Morgan Stanley's lies led to the ceux of the artkicle, which is over your head:
"...Wall Street funded the subprime lending boom by bundling the risky loans into mortgage-backed securities. Those securities were then sold to institutional investors and pension funds..."

These were the cause of the credit crisis that led to the economic meltdown, these lies.

And not the regulated BANK mortgages you refer to, which failed, and still fail at a very low rate.

Mega BS!

The October of 2008 financial crisis was history by Inauguration Day 2009 and the federal budgetary situation President Obama faced was one that he had voted for, hence he was an heir to his own inheritance. Moreover, both Community Organizer/Lawyer and Senator Obama were supporters of the “affordable housing” push begun by Democrats in the 1990s and continuing into the 21st Century by congressional Democrats and their ACORN, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac allies.

The democrats throwing other peoples money around like a kid in a candy store caused the financial mess. The dems expect banks to make loans with no profit. Doesn't work, peanut!

It all sticks, screwball. The whole country knows who caused the financial meltdown, the giveaway spendathon of the left, fannie/freddie, Chris Dodd and Barney Frank (who is now in rich retriment thanks to kickbacks from ACORN and others)
