In my opinion, the blight program in Milford is a bit of a joke. My family initiated a blight complaint over 18 months ago. Very little has changed in this time. The homeowner ignored instructions and the city simply allowed it for 11 months. Absolutely no progress over the course of 11 months! Unless, the health department is questioned on a regular basis, the case will be almost ignored. I have sadly learned this the hard way. I knew at the onset this was a long process. Still unacceptable that the city doesn't enforce their instructions.
