If District Attorney Randy York has his way, sex offenders may soon be losing their homes or other valuable property the same way some drug dealers do.

Please understand that I agree with "violent" sexual predators, however, not every person that is convicted of a sex crime is violent. Some persons have been convicted because they are 18 and the girl they were dating was under the age of 16. All persons convicted of a sex crime per our legal system and society are ostricized, they do not receive any credit for time served, are not eligible for the 85% time serve in Ky,(thought those convicted of murder are eligible to be released after serving only 85% of their sentences). People need to be made aware that these persons are not all the same but are all categorized as if they were violent sexual deviants and this is just not so. Personally I would rather live beside a person who made a bad decision versus someone who manufactures meth. Also, it is informative to know that in today's society you can be convicted of a sex crime on heresay??? Ask yourself this question, I did, my parents married in the early 60's my dad was 18 my mother 15, today my father would be a sex offender, would yours?? Educate yourself, this could happen to someone in your family, boy meets girl, girl doesn't tell age, girl is 15 boy is 18, boy is in big trouble!!!!

well first off your grandparents are idiots for letting their 15 year old daughter marry anyone. Kudos to them for keeping the southern stereotype alive!!!!

I think violent sex offenders should be punished like killers. I agree there is a difference between the person raping at knife point and the person that pees in the park. As a person who has experienced a sex crime I can tell u that rape kills a piece of ur soul. As for the 18 year olds that want to date children 13-15 if you are having sex with someone you should know how old they are. If it it true love it will still be love when the other person reaches 18. There are other way to express "love" without having sex.

Be nice if this is true. But their are a few that get to hind under the radar and get to be around kids and are violent sex offenders. Them the ones they need to nust and go after them hard and after the ones help cover it up.

Men really need to ID the girls they sleep with! 14-15 year olds look like Anna Nicole these days and have just as many lovers! While boys of the same age look their age! I agree rapist (someone who forces themselves on others) should be treated as bad if not worse than murders! When someone kills another person the torture is over but when someone rapes a person the trauma live on forever!

If they are under 18 most likely they dont have any possessions. If they do there parent probably bought it and would be able to claim whatever it is unless it's a car in the kids name.

There is a web page you can look up who is on the sex offender registry, and where they live. But think of this also, some people are on there that don't need to be on there, and there are some people that need to be on there that aren't.
