I disagree with the idea of not closing unused accounts.
Recently I was rejected for a Gulf Card; and the reason was that I had too much credit; not bad credit.
The days of people getting hundreds of Credit cards are over.
Banks and stores are closing unused accounts to prevent people from charging; then being unable to pay.
Card companies are laws unto themselves.

I could have hit the roof when I read Suzie Orman's quote about the dangers of using home equity to refinance credit card debt. That statement is true for some cases and false for other cases. It's a way to general statement made by a media personality. Using home equity to finance credit card debt is a great idea if one could afford to make such a move. If one is not in danger of foreclosure or heavily weighed down with debt, it's a safe financial action to take if one could work out a long term payment plan to meet financial responsibilities. If one is one the edge of total fiscal failure, using home equity to finance credit debt is a dumb and dangerous idea. If one is fiscally healthy it is the quickest way to pay down debt. Nevertheless everyone is in different financial situations so it's a bad idea for some, and a good idea for others.

This is the first time I had ever applied for a loan. I couldn't have asked for anything more from the staff that answered any of my questions to the application process. Once this had all been completed the money was transferred quickly into my account. I will definitely be recommending 911PDAY .COM ( http://goo.gl/44kQUQ ) too my friends and family.
