Rising mortgage rates hit home affordability
The much talked-about recovery of the housing market, which has buoyed home sales up from recession lows, has come about through intervention from the Federal Reserve, record low interest rates, and higher home prices that have helped borrowers across the nation improve their financial standing.

The housing recovery is slowly seeing progress, but it will be a long time to go before we see the housing market back where we want it. The tight lending standards are stalling the recovery. It will be interesting to see if the recovery plateaus or even regresses in coming months due to this and other factors.- Christina, CurrentMortgageRatesToday.org
