Keeping up with the finances of a charity is one of the most difficult jobs. That person must have tremendous oversight and total transparency. If you receive state or federal grants the reports required make it very hard to misuse the money. We have been working setting up a charity to furnish temporary housing for homeless or disabled veterans and it isn't easy.
