NJ second-home owners in limbo a year after Sandy

Oct 26, 2013 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: Northern Michigan News

The Jersey shore's small vacation bungalows and cottages have for decades staked out little plots of paradise where families who scrimped and saved could while away summer evenings, parents having drinks on the deck and kids working the ice cream stand or stealing a first kiss under the boardwalk.

You're an idiot if you build on the beach and don't expect your house to get washed out to sea.

We need to stop selling these idiots insurance.

Second home owners, repeat SECOND home owners and not those who lost their primary residence.

SECOND home owners can sit in limbo from here to enternity. It's not like they do not have some where else to go.

SECOND home owners, NOT someone who lost their only home/place to live.

No taxpayer dollars should be used to repair these second homes. If the owners could afford to own a summer home they can afford to repair them using their own money!
