I don't understand why the Erie Downtown Partnership has hired an outside consultant (for $29k) from Phily to conduct this study?! This study should be done locally in a team effort among the City's Economic Development Dept., Downtown Partnership, Redevelopment Authority and other local partnering economic development agencies. The study should also include public forums to obtain input from current and past residents that have lived downtown.
Did anyone take the survey on the Downtown Partnership website yet? It is a very weak survey and they launched it publicly without even checking to ensure the functionality worked properly.(Question #10 does not function how it is intended to). You would think the consultant would have caught this before they went live with the survey....

It is easier to sit on a persons fat azz in a caucus

room munching donuts and "reviewing" a study than

doing the work yourself.
