But I don't remember entering info to get this check and as I have moved many times, how they found me is weird and I'm araid to deposit the check. I'm afraid it is a scam so I may just cash it somewhere so they don't have access to my bank account.

This is a legitimate settlement. I submitted bank statements (from a US bank) back in 2008 and have been monitoring the progress of this settlement since then. I submitted charges in excess of $100,000 as I was travelling back and forth from the US to Europe every other week, for over 2 years. At that time I thought that I had nothing to loose.
I have just received a check for over $3,000.

I have not yet cashed it in, but intend on doing so soon.

Not clear on the FX Damages Class though. Still need to decide whether I want to remain a member or be excluded.

Rat bastards.
I'm trying to find out if it's real - but I have a check from them for $18.04 ... Seems like over a year ago I got the notice to fill out and return.. hmm.. guess I did it.

Still pondering on making the deposit.

I cashed my $18.04 check and immediately blew it on two 30-packs of Genesee Cream Ale.

I just cashed my check today. The bank teller said she has had lots of people coming in to cash their checks. She even knew what the amount of the check was before I even gave it to her. It's not a scam. I also called the Huntington Bank to verify, and they also said it was legit.

I received a check in the amount of $18.04, dated 12/02/11 showing The Huntington National Bank. I don't recall filing anything about this claim. And, since I have recently moved, it was most curious that they had my new address correctly on the mailing. After Googling to get further information on the ccfsettlement, I am still not comfortable cashing said check. Call me a skeptic.

I just got a check for 18.04. Just wanted to find out what this was about. I don't remember giving any info at all. Think I am going to cash it. Not deposit it. It is a scary world when you suspect something is wrong with some one sending you money.

Have just received my check although it's only $18 because of the limited funds received at settlement. Never had to give ss# or credit card info.

I just received a check in the form of a postcard for $18.04 issued by The Huntington National Bank. It says to endorse on the back of the 'check' but no place to endorse. The back of the card simply has my mailing address.

I just got mine and plan on cashing it after reading all the posts. Diane, you just sign the back like a normal check.

Sign it and cash it. There aren't many free things in this world.....you might as well take advantage of such a rare opportunity.

I received a check in the mail a few days ago. I should have done the easy method for $25.00 because I got back $18.04. It is legit.
