One word............ Leadership........ Who would want to stay there with leadership up the chain and those below that will promote up........ Its was kinda nauseating reading Westall patting him self on the back of his list long list of accomplishments as Chief..... Funny how he failed to mention his role in the settled discrimination case, his role in covering up the missing drug evidence, the cover=up of work place violence, as well as the missing departmental weapons, the interference with the suspicious death investigation. His lack of street experience was a plus though.

Really, Does everyone in Farmington have their head up their ass???? He is retiring because the lawsuit with Perez and Bradford is coming up. Trying to savor his rank and service. This City was once to be proud of and confident in being safe. Now, it is a joke. Just wait, more changes to come. I see the light and soon the city will too. Those who don't protect the people they are paid to. Will most definitely ,ignore everyone they could protect, when not paid to. I was more than happy to read this article and even happier to see this lying, POS out on his ars...... God be with all of us screwed by the FPD and may the light be shown again. I see a Sunrise for my sis.....

Let us not forget Westall wielding his support to Rob and John Mayes during both times of trouble. How does one get multiple felonies dismissed. A big loss my a#$ maybe for Rob but not the department.

Kyle is taking all his good ol boys with him. Retirement money and all. No justice for those who were hurt.

Searcher, clearly Perez got too close to the truth, in your situation as well as the fiasco at visitor and convention bureau. Glad they are all going. Just wonder about some of the other names who were listed in the paper, as well as a few more of our upstanding citizens they left off.

YYEEHHAAWWW! bye bye KROOKEDCOPPER! LOL its about time! too bad your "career" had to be at the expense of COF & SJC. Westfall are you proud of the legacy you will be remembered for? shame that the COF ever has and will compensate you for the stank you brought and left. met several of your in-laws and they ratted your off duty hypocritical a$$ out. apologize you should, humble you're not. your pathetic leadership won't soon be forgot. you're ego is huge, popularity NOT! ethically challenged, cover up master, take Mayes with you and his adopted murdering [email protected] maybe the citizens of SJC rebuild some trust in FPD, but if not with fingers crossed SJCSD will help the FPD become the protector's they get paid to be. ha ha

One of the biggest mysteries at FPD isn't one of the cold cases on file there, it's how this guy was ever able to promote at all and get to be chief! We all know he was a lazy, scared cop on the street, his affair with a female Lt., his constant sucking up and lying to the brass, backstabbing and stepping on his fellow officers to get to the top but early on he had to have gotten some really good dirt on someone in the upper command at the department, that's the only way because he sucked at his job. There were so many other officers who were so much better at their jobs but this guy kept climbing to the top. It caused a lot of anger and several great officers either left the department or became so disgruntled their careers and lives were ruined. As Westall became more powerful the more officers careers and lives he ruined. He was the poster boy for the kid who was a wimp in school, got picked on, swore to pay people back so he became a cop and the biggest a$$hole ever. It didn't matter the officers he ruined weren't the bullies who picked on him, all he wanted was to wield his power, and boy did he! When someone with Kyle's lack of ethics, morals, integrity, experience, training and balls can promote to lead with only having the dirt he was lucky enough to get on someone in command, it's a sad day indeed. Westall stated in the paper he worried when his phone rang off duty that one of the officers had been!! The only one Westall ever worried about was himself and how far he could get up the ladder stepping on innocent officers heads. Good riddance!!
Kyle was great
