The Democrats are imploding. because of the way they pushed the Obamacare thing through on Christmas Eve for God's sake. It wasn't ready then, isn't ready now, and likely won't be ready before November 2016. They were full of too much Christmas cheer, but now have to sober up, and face what they have done. So funny. This is the best President the Democrats ever gave the Republicans.

There are many who believe in the elimination of social spending along with a myriad of other areas. Some of the Tea Party members feel the same way except some have some baggage that has hurt this effort in reducing big govt. I believe there is a growing number of taxpayers who are both conservative and liberal who can find common ground in this area. Unfortunately, there are too many career politicians and not enough fiscal conservatives who are committed to reducing govt....although I think some have tried at their own demise. Republicans will only be able to defeat liberals by including social moderates and liberatarians. The social extremists need to leave the party for the good of America.

Americans used to live to 68. Now they live to 80-90-100. It's not one group that is bankrupting Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security but it sure as hell isn't the baby boomers alone. People are living longer and Congress has tapped into those accounts and used the money elsewhere. DUH!!!!!!!!!!1
I think most of us know why govt. can't support Medicare and Medicaid. My response to the other poster was not meant to be an all inclusive explanation although you seem to have a history of jumping into the middle of things before thinking. Have you apologized to the poster from IL regarding the 2004 election? Geez.

You would think, with all the problems going on with Medicare, Medicaid and SS.....you would have figured out that govt. has no business in the health care business. Seriously, talk about ignorance. It would be impossible to trump yours.

Our government regulates the medical industry, the food industry, the energy industry...etc. If you don't like eating safe food or going to a doctor that isn't a butcher or enjoy not catching on fire when you pump gas, then stop whining and complaining about Medicare/caid/SS. Honestly, if you people hate America so much, leave. As for apologizing to someone who clearly meant one thing but said another, keep waiting.

Insurance companies are raking in billions, raising premiums and reducing services. They don't want to pay for PREVENTATIVE care in a country where half of Americans are FAT and will eventually suffer from heart disease, diabetes, amputation and on and on and on.

Keep siding with the insurance companies. Hope that works out for you, zippy. At least the democrats have the balls and the brains to do something. Republicans have created the greatest DO NOTHING Congress in our history and the American public will not forget it when they vote in 2014 and 2016.(See that there...I can type the correct years, no prob) lmao.

Did I say ALL regulation was bad? Comparing govt. run healthcare with regulation is quite laughable......I can't believe you are serious. Then again since you can't read simple posts and jump to the wrong conclusions....what more is there to say? No wonder you are so easily bamboozled by the lib media.

I'm not siding with insurance in the least; especially since these lib elites in the insurance industry are in bed with big govt. oscumma care is going to make them billions!!!!! What's wrong with you?

The democrats have passed a program and forced it on it's angry citizens that has more bugs in it than a peanut butter sandwich at a picnic. It's hard for me to imagine that even the dumbest of fools would think we should move forward. It's a great way for govt to access information on a specific demographic the libs have been seeking. Why else do you think it is not possible to shop health plans without surrenduring your most guarded personal information? My God, sheeple are so ignorant.

What would you know about what this poster meant to say? He said he voted for odummo in 2004. That was the IL election and he was from IL. There was nothing to confuse. You were quickly corrected by others reading the forum and yet you want to blame the poster? Typical liberal....it's always the other guys fault. It says a lot about your character when you can't even apologize to the poster for misreading his post. There was nothing to confuse and yet you and your other sock puppet jumped to the same conclusion AND refuse to apologize. It would be difficult to imagine there would be two reading disabled people making the exact same STUPID mistake. It would be a freak of nature for two different people to mispeak at the same time like that.

It is so sad to witness the dumbing down of America. It is ripe for a commie govt take over by its own govt.

Again, obviously the "other poster" is you and I've already stated ONCE that I'm not apologizing for YOUR misstatement which you quickly back peddled on.

You are controlling, anal, and an imbecile. The 'dumbing down of America" is apparent every time you post, no matter WHAT NAME you are posting under, unscrupulous.

Now, since you seem to be obsessively stalking me and waiting with baited breath for my next post, I'm getting off topix now to work out, play piano, and go to work this afternoon. Remember, it's educated liberals like me, with a career, who are supporting people like you who have all day, every day to sit in front of topix and spew your mindless drivel about socialism. Now, put that Gov. teet back in your mouth and suck.

The biggest mistake these jackasses made was in not pre testing this whole operation 6 or 8 months ago, and working out the kinks before it was launched. If that was not possible it should have been extended for a year. This way the Democrats, who were the only ones that voted for it, look totally stupid. They couldn't look any dumber, and now this problem will be front, and center all during the election cycle. It couldn't come at a worst time
They may look stupid but you have to realize, the voting majority are even dumber than them! Think about it. In the days when people were independent, hardworking and freedom loving, this NEVER would have gotten as far as it did. Now that we have more takers than makers, the scale has been tipped. It does not matter how fast this country is going to tumble so long as the stupid think they are getting a freebie. Govt. education has dumbed the people to a historic level of drool....I don't know if we will ever get out of this mess.

Fiscal conservatives have been outnumbered because the 'macédoine' have split the Republican party. Republicans will not be able to compete with the liberals which is why they should come to the table with the libertarians. This would embrace everyone who wants to reduce big govt so that our rights and liberties can once again be restored. I think the best parts from both parties could merge. After 8 years serving under an oppressive regime, this country will need a dramatic change to restore hope and to kick the govt. out of our bedrooms, doctor's office, hospital, bank accounts, houses, grocery store, gas pump, workplace, churches, classroom, retirement accounts, savings/checkings, etc. We should STOP working for the govt. When there is less to mooch, there will be more resourceful people creating and discovering.

No, that was not me although I was one of many who noticed your little goof. Do you think I am ALL of those people, as well? Displaying more 'I'm OK You're Not Ok' behaviors only makes you seem more disturbed. And now, you're clicking your marbles with an intensity that would even make Captain Queeg blush when you accuse ME for being some guy from Chicago. What, you think I set you up to look stupid? No one would need to set you up to do that, Peabody.

When someone from IL says they voted for Oscumma in 2004, what is the first thing you are going to think? Yup, the IL election which was a big one. I'm sure that's why the poster included that date or he would have simply said that he voted for the floppy eared dope. I gathered he mentioned this date to express his regretful contribution in getting this monster on the path to the presidency, you nitwit.

Thank you once again for displaying your extensive pathology. I certainly hope you learn from your mistakes and seek out assistance.

I like Bach too....Catherine Bach...why did she marry that goofy Ringo?

My second biggest regret in life (I'm 65) is that I never learned how to play a musical instrument...I do love music.

My first biggest regret is joining Topix. Since I got addicted to Topix, I've lost my job, my family and all my friends, but my typing has improved.

You're 65, not dead. Buy a keyboard $100-$300, check your local community center for senior programs. Here they offer adult piano classes which are way cheaper ($10 per class)than privates ($35 per 1/2 hr). You can be playing two handed pieces within a few months by simply practicing about 1/2 hour per day, every day. Then you can write a country music song. Start with your last sentence! lol

Before Obamacare was launched McCauliff(sp) in Virginia was 15 points ahead of the Republican, yesterday he won by 2 points. If I was the Republican I would have insisted on a recount. At any rate Obamacare is not going to help any Democrat, and a year from now will cost the Democrats the majority in the Senate, and give Republicans a greater percentage of the House.

McCauliffe won. Put your big girl pants on and move along. Seriously, are you going to whine about this teabagging loss for 5 years like you've whined about President Obama beating McCain/Painlin? God. Get over it.
