I wonder how much of this money was spent on the defendant's brother, Sheriff Chip Harding. Not saying the sheriff knew where the money was coming from, but now that he obviously does, has the sheriff offered to pay any of it back?

It's a pretty bad spot for a brother to place another brother in. And quite embarrassing to a sheriff too.

I would also hate to think any of this stolen money ended up being campaign contributions when the defendant ran for election to office, or re-election.

He, too, gets off easy because of family ties. He should get what he deserves, about 15 years.

And your future is probably in divorce from wife, your too in love with yourself and thoughts of your superior intellect to what you call knowledge, as if that amounts to sheot in real life. Feel better now dork?( I have a blessed life and career on just knowing how to communicate with people and not judge them other than they are a part of the human race ) also I know plenty wealthy that cant spell a lick and probably make and own 5 times what you have, so get over your lame self, knowing what you fantasize with your woman I get all the time, maybe you should lay back and realize you are a speck if anything on earth and that GOD IS THE JUDGE, do you know or believe in him, life is as easy as you make it, you frustrate yourself over the engkish grammer really how far will does or can get you as a human being

What a JOKE, this man ruined a local business that has been in business for 50 years. He will only serve four years! I guess it pays to have a brother that's well connected. Who else can steal millions from several people, and only serve 4 years. Why are white collar criminals treated so EASY? Other non-violent crimes always get more time. He would serve more time if he didn't have MONEY. What about restitution to the people he stole from? The court system favors the RICH, unless they need a huge headline like Bernie's.

this is BS. None if his acts put anyone out of business. This is indicative of a society filled with experts who know nothing about what they're talking about. Have fun in your basements, blogging angrily about people you don't know, facts you don't know, and situations you don't know. That's what the sad and angry do now. Use more CAPSLOCK to yell your misinformed points out to absolute strangers. I'm sure someone will call this hypocritical but look at where your life is before you start casting stones.

I think it is shameful for the embarrasement he has caused his family . This is a man that chose greed over common decency . I truly feel sorry for the innocent children and grandchildren that have to bare this embarrasement. They do not deserve this.
I know that they lived well beyond their means in order to live a life filled with material possessions that they did not rightfully deserve. Very sad.
