What a waste of time and money. Give that money to people who can not afford food, shelter and health care. This is the twisted minds of the far left in this country. What a shame.

This is totally unneccessary. Information is easily attainable about the incompetence of this administration. Such an outlandish amount of money need not be spent to tell American citizens what is already painfully obvious.

I agree! These "liberals" could spend $8 million on helping a lot better causes than this!!
Then they wonder why they push people not vote on whoever they support!!!(Boy, that's a mouth full!)

This is a perfect example of why liberals are so dangerous and hateful. What a ridiculous waste of money.

How pathetic. Libs hate Bush. Libs hate the military. Libs hate businesses. Libs hate the U.S.(and blame America first). I guess they must hate themselves, too, to have so much hate in them.

U.S. voters are sick of the political bickering, mudslinging, and negativity. Why else do you think Clinton's negatives are so high and Obama has gotten so popular?

Why not use the $8 million for something POSITIVE?

This is not unexpected, as the Democrats have nothing positive to convey to the American people...

They are so full of hate that it doesn't matter. They want to totally destroy him for all time.

Libs/Dems have been bashing Bush since he beat Gore in 2000. And the liberal media are willing participants. They're still bashing Nixon. How long ago did he die? Give it a rest.

I remember the libs/Dems and the media mocking President Reagan, saying he did nothing, he was senile, he was too old, he was stupid, he was just an actor. Well, now that everyone has gotten a little perspective it turns out he was a pretty damn good and popular president, maybe one of our best.(Oddly, left-winger Paul Krugman of the NY Times seems to have embarked on a trash-Reagan campaign recently. I guess it irritates him that Reagan has been getting more well liked as time goes by.)

Historians will judge President Bush years from now.

I hope the libs'/Dems' character assasination will backfire. Aren't we all tired of the partisanship and bickering? Don't we need to come together to work on serious problems?

Historians SHOULD be the ones that judge Bush because most Americans buy into the bull that the liberal press feeds them, so they have a distorted view on what's happening around them. Historians look at the end result decades and even centuries into the future, and aren't blinded by the prejudices brought on by the press.

Hi,
...and you believe that the war in Iraq is positive? Do you believe the economy at this time, given all of the home foreclosures, job loss situations, etc....is positive? Very little is "positive" at this time. The last 7 years have not been very "positive"... Americans are too quickly influenced by what the media portrays.....media appears to engage in "pick-a-party" antics and many, like you are easily influenced. Do not be so gullible.

Hi,
Given the seriousness of Nixon's behavior....it is not surprising that someone somewhere would not attempt bash his character. In light of his actions, it is reasonable to assume that he was not treated too badly after he left office..... as he served as an ambassador for the next 12 years. Someone at some level in government found him to be competent and trustworthy....evidentally.

Hi,
Don't worry....the "people" along with historians WILL accept the actions of this administration...will most likely see the actions as heroic! Especially after many receive the few hundred dollars in the form of a check (and MANY of these folks do not pay property taxes!!!!!).... and those who unfortunately purchased homes beyond their means....they'll love this administration.....$500,000 homes...some even more expensive. They are going to 'raise the cap' on these so owners will be able to re-finance.... Government is rewarding those incompetent enough to purchase homes they cannot afford! On the other hand...those who are in need of food stamps (food) will not be seeing any increase (assistance).... those who are unemployed will not see an extension of benefits even though they remain unemployed. No one is going to "judge" anyone. The media and historians will see to it that this administration goes down in history as one of the BEST administrations ever.

Hi,
It would seem that before "character" is judged, that it first must exist.

This is probably unnecessary as all of the Republican candidates are running against Bush. Well, ok, old man McCain may have forgotten that the Bushies called him insane from his POW experience, his wife a drug addict and his child the illegitimate child of a black prostitute but....that is McCain's senior moment.

Everyone else knows that Bush is the gutter President and is running as fast as possible in the opposite direction.

I still haven't read anything from the Democrats on what positive things they have to offer and what future policies they propose....
