I found the response by Susan Lyons regarding the law suit filed by a man who was ordered to sit in the bathroom during a Jetblue flight to be very disturbing [Jetloo: Passenger sues over seat." Newsday, May 13th.]. By ordering that man to sit in the bathroom the pilot violated both federal law and FAA regulations. Should there have been severe turbulence that man could have been seriously injured (and rightfully so would have contact someone of Susan's profession to file a law suit). No one, no matter how they end up on a particular flight, be it rewards ticket or "buddy pass", should be put in such a dangerous position. I have personally been on flights where the plane suddenly dropped altitude and have seen first hand someone injured as a result. I hope the next time Susan is in court representing a client who was injured remembers what she wrote here and only asks for a "letter of apology". That would be the day.

Then I respectfully suggest the write reject any clients that demands litigation. Unlikely? Darn right.
