When Tanya Hirschfeld's mom gave her the Princeton Boulevard home she'd lived in for 47 years, Hirschfeld got a loan in June 2006 to do some renovating.

I HOPE BERNIE LYNCH AS SEEN THIS, ALMOST 300 FORECLOSURES IN LOWELL.
IT DON'T SURPRISE ME. WE THE PEOPLE OF LOWELL SHOULD GET TOGETHER
AND DISCUSS THIS FACE TO FACE WITH HIM.BECAUSE HE WANTS TO RAISE THE TAXES AGAIN. I PAY MORE ON MY MORGAGE IN TAXES, THAN WHAT I OWE THE MORGAGE COMPANY FOR MY HOUSE. THIS IS SICK!!!!!THIS IS A MAJOR PROBLEM WITH A LOT OF PEOPLE IN LOWELL.

Thank you. I am concern that in the next year am I going to result in putting my house up for sell or continue living paycheck to paycheck. There's no money left to put in my saving because of the whole economy.

They are getting over 3000 calls a month now. Give it a few months at the rate things are going they will be getting many more! I feel for the elderly out there. They are going to be hit hard too when this tax increase is implemented. You know its just a matter of time.

Hi, My question , who is determines our property values?? what's wrong with Lowell??? You charge us Higher taxes, water is high , Insurance home and cars are very expensive because we live in Lowell. why?? when it comes to value our properties , you say it is low, we as when it comes to property taxes are very high again who is valueing our homes??
I have a two family house but can you believe that I can't refinancing it because my property is low value, who determines that??
Please I need help with my home I worked so hard to loose it and it's very soon if you don't help me now.

Maybe you should send your question directly to Bernie Lynch the city manager. They have an email address for him at the city's web site. Maybe his office can at least give you an answer to your questions.
