John Vasquez must have tried to reason with George over the business finances that have gone bad. If George can prove he had done no wrong in court, then all is well. Otherwise, John deserves to be repaid. The community will stand back and see what happens. As far as this story being wrongly publicized, I don't see it that way. Vacaville cares about Vasquez Deli and wants to see it viable. John may be trying to save it from hemorrhaging. Yes, it's a family fight, but sometimes it takes talking about it to get anything constructive done to fix things. I was glad The Reporter wrote the story.

BTW, I like the Vasquez family.

Being educated means knowing you don't know what happened and sparing others from your baseless speculation.

John Vasquez must have proof of his allegations or he would not have paid an attorney and taken his complaints to court.

Maybe the case will be settled out of court and we'll never know. If not, stay tuned for future updates.

According to Court Connect, we'll be waiting until April 1, 2014, for the next court appearance on this case.

Reminds me of the public fight with the families of the nut tree. They killed an icon. Is that what will happen with the Vasquez family?

You all can go ahead and live vicariously through the Vasquez brother's feud, I have better use of my spare time. I really don't care what happens.

Sad to say that the newspaper article says that John has "... given notice of his disassociation of the of the partnership and asks that a judge oversee the buyout process," the court document states.

Soooo, it sounds like John wants to sell out. Will Vasquez Deli survive? If it does not, maybe the worst thing about its demise is the family's feud. Also, I'll miss the Fiesta Days Vasquez Float filled with family cousins dancing.

It sounds like another example of the three generation business rule. The first generation starts the business, the second generation builds it up and runs it well and the third generation runs it into the ground and kills it.

When we were dating Bobby always boasted about his accomplishment, but always downplayed his many business failures.

You are fantasizing again Jer. I have never dated any fat bald insurance salesmen nor have I ever had a business failure.
