Mexican National Receives Seven Years for Growing Marijuana Defendant manufactured approximately 3,654 marijuana plants Eugene, Ore.– Ramiro Ballesteros-Elorza, 33, was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Michael R. Hogan to 84 months imprisonment and a five-year term of supervised release. Ballesteros-Elorza had earlier entered a guilty plea to manufacturing approximately 3,654 marijuana plants. While conducting a coordinated marijuana eradication operation, the DEA, Douglas County Interagency Narcotics Team, Oregon State Police, and the South Coast Interagency Narcotics Team discovered a covert marijuana grow operation in a remote forested area of Coos County. After a period of clandestine surveillance by law enforcement officers, a search warrant was executed on the marijuana garden, and defendant Ballesteros-Elorza was arrested at a cam psite in the grow. Items seized from the crime scene included a Mac-90 semiautomatic rifle with a loaded 30 round magazine, cell phones, drug records and a disposable camera with film depicting the defendant and others standing amongst the marijuana plants while holding the assault rifle. |

Part one:
Another day, another major drug bust in the Northwest. Usual suspects – illegal aliens. Thank you U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and all other agencies that worked together on this case. Have a wonderful 4th of July holiday – you deserve it! ICE and DEA were assisted in this investigation by the Auburn Police Department, Bonney Lake Police Department, Centralia Police Department, Federal Way Police Department, Gray's Harbor Task Force, Pierce County Sheriff's Office, Puyallup Police Department, South Snohomish Drug Task Force, Tacoma Police Department, Tahoma Narcotics Enforcement Team, Washington Department of Corrections, and Washington State Patrol. ---------- Meth and cocaine drug trafficking organization dismantled in Puget Sound region 31 arrested in "Operation Arctic Chill" SEATTLE - Federal agents with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) along with state and local law enforcement officers have arrested 31 people following a lengthy investigation into a drug trafficking organization that supplied methamphetamine and cocaine from Mexico for distribution in Washington. Twenty of those arrested have been charged federally for attempt and conspiracy violations of the Controlled Substances Act. According to court documents, investigators identified Martin Oseguera-Chavez of Roy, Wash., as the leader of the Oseguera-Chavez Drug Trafficking Organization (DTO). He was responsible for purchasing methamphetamine and cocaine from sources in California and Mexico for distribution to DTO members in Washington. The DTO involved a vast network of contacts in the Puget Sound region and in California. Drugs were transported along the Interstate 5 corridor in vehicles equipped with hidden compartments. Members of the DTO sought to conceal their actions, speaking with each other in coded language to describe the drugs, calling crystal methamphetamine "clothes" or "blind man" and referring to poor quality drugs as "stretched" or "bruised." |

Part two:
Over the past two weeks, more than 35 search warrants were executed at various locations in Washington including Carnation, Federal Way, Lynnwood, Olympia, Puyallup, Rainier, Roy, Tacoma, Vancouver and Yelm. A search warrant was also executed in Oakdale, Calif., where an idle meth lab and approximately one pound of meth was discovered. During the course of investigation, law enforcement has seized more than 19 pounds of methamphetamine,¼ pound of cocaine, approximately $60,000 in U.S. currency, 22 vehicles (some with hidden compartments) and 23 firearms. "The success of this joint operation is measured by the fact that we successfully dismantled a criminal drug trafficking organization from the top down," said Leigh Winchell, special agent in charge of ICE's Office of Investigations. "ICE will continue to partner with DEA and others to more effectively investigate these organizations - from smuggler to distributor - and bring to bear the complete complement of law enforcement's authorities on this threat to our communities." "Operation Arctic Chill was a 14-month investigation that resulted in the seizures of drugs, weapons and the arrest of 31 individuals who were part of sophisticated organization operating in the state of Washington," said DEA special agent in charge Arnold R. Moorin. "The dismantlement of this organization was a collaborative effort by state, local and federal entities, critical to the success of this operation." |

Two illegal aliens, the Gamboa cousins, were sentenced to prison for murdering 15-year-old Dani Countyman in 2007. Neither man should have been in the country in the first place. Even more egregious the Gamboa cousins had been arrested for numerous drunken driving incidences prior the murder. Unfortunately they were not turned over to ICE for deportation. Now another American and her family have paid the ultimate price for government indifference to the crime of illegal immigration.
The Gamboa cousins will be joining with close to 2000 of their fellow countrymen in the Oregon State Penitentiary, many incarcerated for committing similar crimes. Reviewing the crimes by number and type committed by the 1,197 criminal aliens currently incarcerated in Oregon’s State prisons, they include 4 - arsons, 168 - assaults, 41 - burglaries, 38 - driving offenses, 143 - drugs, 7- forgeries, 161 - homicides, 49 - kidnappings, 51 -others, 166 - rapes, 90 - robberies, 179 - sex abuses, 71 - sodomies, 19 -thefts, 1 0-vehicle thefts. |

The crimes committed by illegal aliens continue on unabated. The cost to taxpayers is immense. Obviously there is no way to measure the human cost to children and family members who have been sexually abused. When will our elected leaders wake up? Abuser of two Medford girls gets prison term. Pedro Aguilera-Perez faces more than 12 years behind bars followed by deportation to Mexico for violating the preteen sisters By Anita Burke Mail Tribune [Medford OR] A man who sexually abused his girlfriend's two preteen daughters multiple times over the course of two years was sentenced Tuesday to 12 years and six months in prison. A jury found Pedro Aguilera-Perez, 44, guilty of six counts of first-degree sexual assault on June 24, and Jackson County Circuit Court Judge Ray White sentenced him to prison Tuesday morning, calling his behavior "reprehensible." Jackson County Deputy District Attorney David Orr explained that Aguilera-Perez had moved in with his girlfriend and her two daughters — then 7 and 10 — in Medford about two-and-a-half years ago. Shortly thereafter, the 10-year-old reported that he had touched her inappropriately, but her mother vouched for Aguilera-Perez and said it was a misunderstanding, not abuse, Orr said. No charges were filed then. Early this year, the younger girl, now 9, told people at school about ongoing abuse at home, Orr said. "This is really, truly a horrible situation," he said, describing how the younger girl recounted that Aguilera-Perez repeatedly had paid her money to take off her clothes and let him touch her. Aguilera-Perez, who is in the country illegally, bragged of moving across the border easily and told the younger girl that he had killed people in Mexico and would kill her, too, if she told anyone about the abuse. "When he gets out of jail, I hope he doesn't hurt us and leaves us alone," she said in court Tuesday. "Let us be a normal family." |

Even if I had taken a photo of the actual driver the police won't do anything. god I hate them and their lying, cheating crimnal ways |

WASHINGTON (July 16, 2009)– Wildlife populations are increasingly threatened by illegal immigration and the alien smugglers who are cutting paths through federally protected lands. While environmental groups put out study after study detailing potential negative effects of a border fence on the environment, the story of the negative effects of not stopping illegal immigration across the Mexican border is a story that has remained untold, until now.
The Center for Immigration Studies has produced a web video using exclusive hidden camera footage. Additionally, the video includes maps used by the federal government to track illegal activity.“Hidden Cameras on the Arizona Border: Coyotes, Bears, and Trails,” raises questions about environmentalists’ focus on stopping a border fence, when endangered species and vegetation have already been proven to suffer significantly where no fence exists. Abandoned vehicles, drug drops, illegal groups trekking and camping, along with the predictable human waste and immense litter left behind, have destroyed fragile Arizona ecosystems. The video is online at http://cis.org/Videos/HiddenCameras-IllegalIm... |

No they are not taking jobs americans don't want, they are taking jobs that don't pay what "average" american jobs pay. If people have their panties in a bunch, maybe they should go after the Big corporations who are farming out THOUSANDS of jobs overseas, seems like a better use of our energy. |
||||
|
…and why don’t those jobs pay “what "average" american jobs pay”? Because American employers have a steady stream and constant pool of illegal aliens to choose from. Too little energy has been spent dealing with this problem, it’s been ignored. Both the illegal “workers” and their greedy employers need deportation and/or jail time.

On Sunday, The Oregonian featured on its front page an article,“Special visas help abused immigrants,” which related the case of an illegal immigrant in Portland who is acquiring legal status based on being a victim of domestic abuse and subsequently cooperating with police.(http://www.oregonlive.com/news/index.ssf/2009... )
The article referred to a new immigration policy being implemented concerning domestic abuse, but did not make clear the full extent of this change. FAIR in its Legislative Update issued today explains the serious problems connected with this policy change. There are some links in the article that could not be include here. You may view the article and click on the links, on FAIR’s website: http://www.fairus.org/site/News2... |

Actually, refuse ALL benefits and services unless they can show proof of citizenship and they will avoid America.
|

So what? Tribes raided, conquered, enslaved and even ate each other before the Spanish Conquistadors took the land for Spain. So, you’re half Conquistador and half Aztec? Land has always been fought over, by all humans for all time. Those of us currently in charge of what our ancestors secured for us had better wake up quick to this invasion before we find, while fighting an enemy on the other side of the planet its actually Mexicans and Conquistadors steeling ours in the night! |
||||
People have a right to drive in the US and DMV's don't have the authority to enforce federal immigration laws. |
||||
Mexico, Peru, Guatemala, Canada, the US, are all in the Americas, dotard. |
||||
Driving is NOT a right, it's a priviledge! They can deny you for failing to pay virtually anything to city, county, state or federal government. Failing to maintain insurance, failing to submit to sobriety tests, etc,etc,etc... |

When you said, "America" it was assumed that you meant all three of the American Continents, not just North America. |
