When I was flying regularly, I was always pulled aside by TSA and my bags were checked.

There was never any positive test results, but they checked every time for residue on my computer bag. When I finally asked about it I was taken aside and questioned by TSA for an hour. When I demanded to speak to the individual in charge, they said he was not available. I asked if I was under arrest and if so, what was the charge.

When they said no, I was not under arrest I advised them I was leaving. I went directly to the Airport Police and reported the incident.

The police escorted me through the airport directly to my plane and TSA never bothered me like that again.

Seems my "profile" was flagged as a "LEO" and they were testing for gun powder residue on my bag.

TSA is not populated by knowledgeable or experienced people and most, at best have a background as prison guards.

Know your rights and DO NOT surrender them!
