Obama added spending to FY2009 which MW credited to Bush.
True of false?
Obama added the cost of the Wars to the spending cost in 2009, which hand not for all the years of the Wars been added to the year end spending, Bush was hiding those cost and keeping them off the books.

You didn't think they would remain a secret, did you?

That's the deficit spending, 2 Wars, Medicare Part D and those Tax Cuts.

Where do you get your "facts"?

While Bush kept the wars 'off budget' they were always 'on the books'.

But once again, you ran from my question:

Obama added spending to FY2009 which MW credited to Bush.

True of false?

Jobless rate down!
Oil production at five year high!
I have access to health care!
We're no longer in a recession!

Even according to Romney's graph...the numbers are getting BETTER, and have CONTINUALLY gotten better!
That would PROVE that YES, we are better off then when Bush policies left office!
It's simple MATH!!!

It's not a lie:)

Prove it's a lie?
...because I can prove it's NOT a lie!

It is well known that the U.S. military has largely paid for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan through emergency spending measures, in effect keeping wartime costs off the books.

In addition to masking skyrocketing budget growth at the Department of Defense, this process has allowed the services to treat budget supplementals as a piggy bank for new procurement.

Obama’s message? Not anymore.

"That is why this budget looks ahead ten years and accounts for spending that was left out under the old rules – and for the first time, that includes the full cost of fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan," he said. "For seven years, we have been a nation at war. No longer will we hide its price."

It never was included in the budget.
Bush went quite regularly to Congress; each time asking for a few hundred billion more to finance the two wars that he started. All that cash never appeared in the "official" budget. Even after it became obvious that he was lying through his teeth, Congress still voted him the money.

This is the basis for the claim that Obama "tripled the Deficit" when all he did was stop lying about the cost of the Bush's Wars and Medicare Part D, which have to be paid by the taxpayers just like everything else.

This was part of Obama's "transparency" he promised, which he did, and now Cons are using to attack him by making it look as though he raised the deficit MORE than he actually did!
He added the cost of war, while Bush HID the cost of war!
We ALL know this!
It is NOT a lie:)
You may WANT it to be a lie, because it sounds so horrific for the repubs...eh?
Bush's real Deficit was well over 1 trillion.
Obama barely raised that by 50% his first year, most of the spending coming from having to deal with the enormous Bush Recession already in full swing before he took office.

There's some irony here. The first act that Bush performed as President was to veto a bill that would have increased the CIA budget by a couple of billion $. The CIA warned Bush (in writing) about possible terrorist attacks using aircraft a full month before 9/11. He did nothing;he didn't even bother to step up security at the airports.

Based on my 23 years in the Army, here's how it works, in order:
1. POTUS gives permission to shoot OBL
2. Military finds OBL
3. BANG BANG -- OBL dead
4. Military calls POTUS with follow up report
How many MAJOR raids and killings have you done regarding the MOST WANTED man in the WORLD while in the army?
None?
If you THINK that's how it works, then explain WHY that wasn't how it worked?

Here's how obama does it.
1. Military finds OBL
2. Calls obama to ask permission to shoot OBL
3. obama waits 16 hours. Plays golf, Ask valerie if OK. Checks with DOJ to see if OK. Has a focus group. Ponders with deep thoughts. Considers saying NO.
4. Very reluctantly gives permission
5. BANG BANG -- OBL dead
6. Military calls an obama aide with follow up report
1. You forgot what led UP to the "Military finding "OBL"! They didn't just stumble onto him randomly.
2. They are required to ask permission DUH! I thought you said you were in the army?
3. Obama took 16 hours to make a VERY important decision, which could have put many lives at risk!
He did it the safe way, to ensure our own men didn't get hurt or killed! And he was right! Is that bad to you?
He did NOT play golf...why do you lie so much?
4. Prove he "reluctantly" gave permission?
How would you know what Obama THOUGHT or PONDERED?
Mostly, we ALL know he said YES, and GOT HIM!
So, why lie now?
We know he said yes, and we KNOW OBL is DEAD!
Is that a bad thing to you?

Obama got the MOST WANTED man in the WORLD, and you poo poo it because he used "deep thought" while making a huge military decision?
Really?

And BTW, why are we still in Afghanistan and why did it take so long to finally get out of Iraq?
Where to start, the main reason we are still there is because Bush took major resources out of the country.. Simply put, they bungled both wars so badly we are still feeling the effects today.
4 star generals like Shinseki said we would need an occupying force of at least 260,000 in Iraq for up to 5 years, we ended up with Rumsfelds version of a modern military and it shows. When Bush left office of the 31 provincial areas in Afghanistan, the Taliban had a shadow governor in 28 of them. Mostly, NATO and Obama have already AGREED to remove troops there as well:)

Now regarding Iraq, It takes time to safely remove troops from a country at war.
Obama said 18 months, it it took just a few months longer than that in Iraq!...I'd say that's GOOD, not bad...eh?
He followed the MILITARY strategy to pull from war...should he not have followed the military strategist plan, and just went off on his own, pulling troops, and putting them in danger?
I swear, if Obama came out with a cure for cancer tomorrow, you Obama haters would find a reason to be pro cancer!
HA!
lol

I recall pundits asking 'Why are we still in Iraq?' Then as the pull-out deadline approached pundits switched gears and started scurrying around waving their hands in the air in panic "OMG, we can't leave NOW!" But we did leave. I expect all those 'Why are we still in Afghanistan' pundits will be back waving their arms around again, crying "OMG, we can't leave NOW!" when the time comes. Romney has already hinted that he'd halt the withdrawal.

He only promised to be out of IRAQ, not Afghanistan!

1. When the "repos" start?
What you think MIGHT happen is MOOT to reality:)
Also, it's been almost FOUR YEARS.....where is the BIG "repo" crisis you're referring to?

2. You seem to be under the impression that welfare recipients don't work:)
MOST welfare recipients work, pay bills, pay taxes, and have cars...just like you and I!
Are you implying they should they be denied a vehicle because they receive welfare?
WOW

3. Stock market UP, dow up (and BOTH at a five year high), auto industry saved, economy prevented from collapse, homes saved, oil production at 5 year high, job gained and continually gaining with no stopping...should I go on?

That sounds like recovery to me!
No?

Crying about what MIGHT happen (repos), as opposed to what IS happening makes you appear desperate and weak:)

Since when does the budget not include the Books? That's embezzlement.

Obama spending added to the 2009 spending, was necessary to neutralize the collapse of America's economy. All brought about by the Bush financial calamity to the Nation. There had not been a Nation in similar ruin since the Fall of the Roman Empire.

Yes, that justifies adding that $470 Billion in stimulus to the Bush 2009 FY Budget.

Do you know how ridiculous this sounds? Who is capable of going to a automobile dealership and find a vehicle to purchase on benefits of $25.00 a week?

You would have made more sense suggesting welfare recipients went to purchase pink unicorns.

Sorry... I didn't read to the end of your post.

You FINALLY admit that Obama added spending to FY2009.

Thank you.

btw, "justified" spending?

Seriously... that's a political term. We may get into that at some point, but it's taken you days just to get you to answer a single simple question, so I'm not eager to introduce nebulous terms like "justified" into the conversation.

You're going to see a lot of stupid post like this post below. Claiming Reagan, this and Reagan that in comparison to the Big Dog.

This kind of delusion is brought about by the mere appearance of Bill Clinton meeting and rallying the Democratic Base..... Some of GOP Supporters with experience know full well the impact of Bill Clinton on politics in America.

I'm sum this up real quick, I can go on about the accomplishments and moves by the Big Dog to naturalize Republican for pages.......First, Bill Clinton is the single most recognized politician in the World!

The Republicans pretty much know that now the Big Dog is in the Saddle again and, firmly behind Obama, their days are numbered..... point blank.

They would rather invade Russia than run against anything tied to or related to Bill Clinton.....

Bill Clinton's unmitigated support of Obama pretty much wraps up all the States North of Virginia, Florida, and everything east of Chicago, those swing states east of the Great Lakes...... pretty much aren't swing no more.

With Bill Clinton in the Saddle, the Election in November should be over by 7pm Eastern Standard Time.

The Democrats will just turn the Big Dog loose on a campaign run through the region from the Great Lakes to the Atlantic Ocean

That will bring the Reagan Democrats into the fold......

The next time the Republicans will be relevant in an American election will be after Hilary's two Terms are complete......
