Ohio Vietnam Vet, As much as you dislike the views and leaders of people on these posts, they dislike Obama and all of your facts. You are totally correct but have to realize that you are dealing with people who do not care about their fellow man. Yes, some take advantage but they label all as lazy, living off the government. This is a generational view which is hard to crack unless education and broad mindedness occur. As you can tell, it has not. These posts reveal prejudices that will never die. Obama is so much more dignified, intelligent, caring, and gentle than the people of these posts, but because he is a Black American they can't take it. He is so much more of a person than many of these ranting people could ever be and that is too bad. Our country could be a strong melting pot but the narrow-mindedness of many is a shame.

Bob,

Obama's approval rating is currently 38%. His approval rating is down amongst Republicans, Independents, and Democrats. People are not buying what he is selling. Painting people who disagree with the policies of the president as "prejudice" is just a way to end debate. Its the Liberal playbook. I'm sure Bob and Ohio Vietnam Vet would feel comfortable calling EVERYONE who disagrees with Obama a racist. I'm also sure they would say "ITS A SETTLED SCIENCE" The conversation is over. I'm sure Bob is just like Chris Matthews, you probably felt a "Thrill run up your leg" when Obama won.

Libs, do me a favor. Go figure out what to call Global Warming. Is is Climate Change? Is it the 1970's motto: Global Cooling? Is it Hope and Change? Is it "Cap and Trade"? Is it a settled science? IS the conversation really over? I know. I know. Have your Democratic Senators pull an "ALL NIGHTER" to try to figure out what to call it. Oh I forgot, they ALREADY did. Figure out how you feel about Gay Marriage. Obama, in 2010, believed that Civil Unions was the answer. Fast forward to 2012, his feelings "evolved" and he supported Gay Marriage. Do you want 16 ounce sodas to be illegal and marijuana to be legal?

Figure out what you want. Be able to debate it on the merits without immediately assuming everyone who disagrees is a racist...and get ready for a thrashing in the fall of 2014 and 2016.

Sorry, but prejudice is the underlying problem and you can huff and puff all you want. And, there is no true debating with some because they base ideas and numbers from FOX, Rush, etc. who border on true hatred toward Democrats and Obama. So what, he changes his mind. I suppose you don't because you are right all the time and don't need to evaluate the overall situation. Get over gay marriage (and again your ugly head of prejudice is popping up); you don't have to be gay and you don't have to live their lives. If you are a Bible reader, then you shouldn't judge. And, I bet you do follow the Bible.

Marriage has always been between a man and a woman to procreate. Marriage between the same sex is not marriage. We can acknowledge their love for each other and can call it something else and have the same legal benefits as marriage. Just because poeple disagree in the terms or definition does not mean they are predudice. The people pushing for having labeling, in having a union between gay couples be called marrage, are the ones that are not showing respect for those wanting to keep the term marriage as between a man and a woman. This is how the left causes a division in the people to gain votes from victimization.

Hey Wow, don't shed tears for me. I'm doing just fine because I have worked hard, respected people, and realized that I'm not that important in the scheme of life. And, a choice, marriage is just a word so quit being technical with peoples' lives.

Now for government controlled health care, that's where its headed. 85% liked their health care, 15% had none and of those some chose not to have it. Costs are different for everyone depending on their circumstanced and what policies they want. If we just open the free market and make insurance costs competitive prices would come down. Those out of work or special circumstances, as you stated, could be subsidized by the government. This would be a whole lot cheaper then what's happening. People are losing their jobs or going to part time because of the ACA, you can't deny it. Now people are losing their health care, or their costs have skyrocketed. They can't keep their insurance or their doctor and we were promised the cost would come down by $2500. 60% of the people didn't want it and it was jammed down our throats by your party. No debates or congressional hearings, the other side was shut out. We were told that to find out what was in the bill we had to pass it. That is not how it works.
Government run healthcare, it stinks. I saw it first hand in the Army and it cost my young daughters life.
Randy you got this total B.S. right off FOX (Fake) Snooze. AND, FOX is owned and operated by Murdock = Republican Party. AND, Republican Party = Koch Brothers, Waltons and other mega-millionaires / Billionaires, NOT "Joe and Jane Average." HEY RANDY, guess you must have had your eyes totally closed when the Healthcare Insurance companies, like UnitedHealthcare, got their Greedy fingers into the healthcare system. The costs for sick people went threw the roof! SO, your completely flawed comments about "just open the free market and make insurance costs competitive..." DIDN'T work before AND it won't work now. Those companies are driven by GREED, NOT THE CARE of SICK PEOPLE! Healthcare should not be a profit-oriented business----all you get is what has been going on for decades, NAMELY, ever-increasing charges for simple things like filling cavities and treating a cold. TAKE OFF THE FOX Blinders and look at the TRUTH! OH, BTW, did the Army force you to take your daughter to an Army hospital? I'm sorry she died, but NO ONE forced you to take her to an Army hospital, did they???

Bob, I agree. I'm sure you have noticed what a big bunch of hypocrites and bigots the Bible bangers are. They claim to be "good Christians", but ignore almost everything Jesus taught. You see and hear the Bible bangers yell and scream about gays, but they are VERY silent about adultery. AND, that's because a lot of them are committing it! They loudly denounce people and conveniently ignore, "Judge not, lest Ye be judged."

Did you read the latest letter to the editor from Gary? That can't be Randy Miller because it is somewhat eloquently written but still off the charts.

Raising the minimum wage will not improve the workers lives, it's just a political ploy for votes from the low information people.

You are soooooooo prejudice against people who need help. Are you kidding. Look at your statement. More money would not improve someone's life. You are so afraid your military retirement check might stop coming because it is going to "a low information person."

It's simple economics Bob. Raise the minimum wage and business will pass along the costs to the consumer. That means there will be inflation and the buying power of the individual remains the same. So how does it improve someone's life? I guess you're one of those low information people.
