Bluster and hot rhetoric aside, the White House and House Republicans have identified areas of significant overlap that could form the basis for a final agreement after "fiscal cliff" posturing gives way to hard bargaining.

The problem is every one there way and are not willing to bend. They are narrow mined and forget that the decisions they make affect all of us.
Its' not about the Rich or the Poor. Its' about the abuse of POWER.
All they have to do is pass a flat tax and every one pays the same no matter what. The IRS can get a real job the tax deficiet will be recooped in no time and Law makers can quit Screwing the American People once and for all.
They will not do this because they enjoy the bitch scessions and making us all angry. Not one of them is willing to put them self in our shoes and see how they come across.
I love my Country but the American Government scares the HELL out of me.
