mixing retail and residential is a great idea, it CREATES foot traffic for downtown.
connecticuts' LARGEST city deserves a great downtown, much like stamford and new haven, and this mix hopefully will be the answer.
good luck to ALL involved.
i look forward to watching this change from blight to busy.

I could never figure out why there's a zoo in Bridgeport. Why would you pay money to look at animals when there are countless apes and monkeys walking all over the place throughout the city? It doesn't make sense, really. Although I guess the fact that the monkeys in the zoo are locked in cages makes it a safer place to bring your kids. So maybe it's not so crazy, after all.

Downtown Bridgeport is Ghost Town...Bus Station, Train Station and COurthouse receive some traffic.

Just don't feed them and you will be ok
