Of course they are not specific, it is election season!

We can look at their track records though and know what they will really do. If you suck into what is touted in campaign mode (especially if different than actions they done) you are a fool.
Watch Obama "look" more center of the road, even leaning right as election day draws closer. Do you recall that move 4 years ago?

Once upon a time we were warned:

Everybody in into the cult of personality, nobody looks at the 'problem'. The candidates want you vote, they will not tell you what they will do about the problem BECAUSE they will not do anything to solve the proplem.

France is really Romney's stomping grounds- as long as he is dodging the draft.

PS: Romney objects to his 13 percent tax rate (half of what middle class pays now) and wants to lower to less than one percent.

It was Chris Dodd that filibustered a bill presented by George W. Bush that was meant to stop the mortgage crisis. The world would be a much better place if Chris Dodd had let it pass. Gubmint news doesn't want you to know that.
Bush could not beat a majority of stupid democrats in the House and Senate so we had a mortgage meltdown thanks to Chris Dodd.
There you have it.

Republicans wrote the tax code for the 401K for their special interests executives to give them a tax haven back in the 1070's. Republicans started the middle class down turn and the wealthy up turn with their policies. Republicans do represent the wealthy and always have. Look at the stagnent wages for the middle class and rise in wages for the wealthy from the 1970's.

CNN poll magically tightens as calendar turns...searching for credibility is funny that way.

2012 DEBT SURPASSES 2011... and that's with out Michele going on 7 more vacations.

Huge tax increase looms at year-end 'fiscal cliff'... Average family will pay $2000 more if Obama is re-elected.

UPDATE: White House to contractors: Hold off on layoff warnings...Break the law for me........obama begs.

Isn't it interesting that until the election became closer (physically and politically), Obama wanted (& still desires) higher taxes for all workers with a salary and all "rich" folks - except himself and cronies. He saw no need to simplify the procedure nor rules, and in fact, worked hard to add an almost uncountable number of additional rules and complications.

Politicians realy on peoples short memories.
Politicians are rarely specific. Even if they had a good, workable idea of their own, things change, they owe those who supported their election, someone might remember and call them on it.

Sure would like some specifics from each. It's not likely. Even if we did get such info, whomever would not follow through, and nothing would happen. Who would say? If you call Obama on these things, you run the risk of being labeled racist or favoring experience/elders. If you call Romney on these things, you run the risk of being labeled anti religious/anti business

What to do?

We have the past 4 years (only) of what Obama has done - not said. We have the past few decades of what Romney has done. Ask yourself this: who has actually held a job?- ran a company?-ran a state government? paid taxes?-surrounded himself with people of knowledge rather than political appointees? etc. etc. etc.
