Massena man asks rec commission to consider opportunities for mid-teens

With a proposal being considered to tear down the wooden playground on Danforth Place and replace it with newer equipment, a Massena man says it's the perfect time to start thinking about recreational opportunities not just for the younger children, but also those in their mid-teens.

Love this idea, our teens need things to do and a place to do it. A year-round youth center would be ideal. The only thing the town has done for teens lately is set a ridiculous curfew.

What happened to the teen center at the old St Joseph's school?

I do agree that they need a place to go and do things. I was wondering if they had dances on weekends would that help?
