Okay the main details of my situation are: I'm 24 years old. Only making about $25k, contributing 6%, company matches 3%. Obviously I'm young, so I don't plan on touching this money for quite a long time. I'm very open to taking risks as I have plenty of time to ride out the ups and downs as long as the growth potential is there.
My company's 401k provider offers the following funds (With my current allocation in parentheses):
Putnam Money Market A
Alger Mid Cap Growth Fund A (50%)
John Hancock Classic Value Fund A
Calvert Income Fund A
BlackRock Asset Allocation Portfolio (25%)
BlackRock MidCap Value Equity Portfolio
Goldman Sachs Government Income A
Alger Spectra Fund Cl A
Invesco Trimark Small Company Fund A
Wells Fargo Intl Equity A (25%)
JP Morgan Smart Retirement 2010, 2015, 2020, 2025, 2030, 2035, 2040, 2045, 2050
SO do my current choices make and sense at all and how can I change this to better match my situation and goals?
