how to find 401k plan of late husband

Iím trying to locate the 401k plan of my late husband. I know it exists but I have no idea how to find it.
I would be very grateful if somebody could give me some suggestion.

Talk to the Human Resources department employer through whom he had the plan (if you know any of his colleagues, they may be able to assst). HR may ask for proof such as his death certificate and proof that you were married to him when he passed away. It may take a while to get everything sorted out. Since in all likelyhood you are the primary and the only beneficiary, I don't think it should be a problem and you should pursue it closely.
