Full story: www.oregonlive.com

Is there any area yet that hasn't yet been designated as a potential super volcano?

There's one in every back yard it seems.

Scientific evidence shows that the last time the Supervolcano in Yellowstone National Park blew the ash blocked out the sun all around the world and shortened the global growing season to 16 days (which is NO growing season).

Famine resulted.

The plume of glassy deadly ash blocked out the sun as far South as lower Arizona, New Mexico and moved Eastward around the globe, and killed untold herds of animals and people.

I know,,more good news.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Cancer

It's a sensational Full Moon in your sign, combined with a lunar eclipse! Holy cow! However, once you accept that even the best-laid plans could go awry today, you'll find that life is a lot easier to cope with. Try your hardest to take everything in your stride, even if you do have to rethink an arrangement at the eleventh hour. At least it's never a dull moment! Do your best not to let the tensions of the day spoil what promises to be some spectacular New Year's Eve celebrations. It will be an opportunity to let off steam. Have fun!
