Voters now trust Republicans more than Democrats on all 10 of the important issues regularly tracked by Rasmussen Reports.

The Generic Ballot results were much different during the last two election cycles when Democrats regularly had large leads. When President Obama was inaugurated in January 2009, Democrats enjoyed a seven-point advantage. The two parties were very close through the spring of 2009, but in June, around the time Democrats began their campaign for health care reform, Republicans pulled ahead for good.

Poverty rising in U.S.

The Associated Press
Posted: September 12

WASHINGTON -- The number of people in the U.S. who are in poverty is on track for a record increase on President Barack Obama's watch, with the ranks of working-age poor approaching 1960s levels that led to the national war on poverty.

Census figures for 2009 -- the recession-ravaged first year of the Democrat's presidency -- are to be released in the coming week, and demographers expect grim findings.

Interviews with six demographers who closely track poverty trends found wide consensus that 2009 figures are likely to show a significant rate increase to the range of 14.7 percent to 15 percent.

Should those estimates hold true, some 45 million people in this country, or more than 1 in 7, were poor last year. It would be the highest single-year increase since the government began calculating poverty figures in 1959.

The previous high was in 1980, Under JIMMY CARTER, when the rate jumped 1.3 percentage points to 13 percent during the energy crisis.

Boehner says he'd support a middle-class tax cut

By DOUGLASS K. DANIEL (AP)– 23 minutes ago

WASHINGTON — House Minority Leader John Boehner says he would vote for President Obama's plan to extend tax cuts only for middle-class earners, not the wealthy, if that were the only option available to House Republicans.

Boehner, R-Ohio, said it is "bad policy" to exclude the highest-earning Americans from tax relief during the recession, and later Sunday he accused the White House of "class warfare." But he said he wouldn't block the breaks for middle-income individuals and families if Democrats won't support the full package.

Despite any midterm outcome, the marxist subversive-in-chief's 40+ radicals, aka czars, will still be doing all they can to pervert the American way.

Americans should never forget the dog who appointed a cabinet and cadre of czars comprised of avowed-communists, pro-abortion, anti-free-speech, anti-gun, anti-free market, anti-business, pro-illegal, wealth redistribution and healthcare-rationing advocates, union bosses, Goldman lobbyists, and inexperienced radicals including Van Jones, Katherine Sebelius, Mark Llloyd, Anita Dunn, Richard Holbrooke, Jeffrey Crowley, Kenneth Feinberg, Earl Devaney, Daniel Fried, John Brennan....

...And Cass Sunstein (Regulatory Czar), the liberal activist judge who stated that "free speech needs to be limited for the common good", while also believing in "Explicit Consent" (harvesting human organs without family consent), and allowing animals to be represented in court, while banning all hunting.

...And union boss Ken Bloom (Manufacturing Czar), who stated that "we all know that the free market is nonsense. We kind of agree with Mao [Tse Tung] that political power comes largely from the barrel of a gun".

...And John Holdren (Science Czar) who believes in forced abortions, mass sterilizations and seizing babies from teen mothers.

...And Kevin Jennings (Safe School Czar), a homosexual and organizer of a group called Gay, Lesbian, Straight, and the Education Network who uses taxpayer funds for handing out "Fisting Kits" to teenagers.

Also remember who appointed a radical La Raza activist to the SCOTUS, followed by the incompetent radical leftist Kagan, who believes that government has the right to dictate what Americans can eat, along with government censorship and believing that gun ownership is not a right!

We don't need anything radical, all people need to do it take a few minutes away from what they are doing on election day in november and show the democrats the door. If you can't get people to show up at the ballot box then there is not hope for anything stronger.

Americans should look at the bright side!

We have another new czar!

In between rounds of golf, vacations, parties, speeches, endless campaigning (his 3-day 3-city jaunt last week cost taxpayers a cool $2 million), relentless lies, villifying Americans (and any opposition that moves), countless meetings with George Soros and SEIU's Andy Stern, and backroom deals with big pharma, insurance, Wall Street, NBC/GE, Goldman, and thousands of lobbyists, the marxist narcissist-in-chief dines on a steady diet of taxpayer funded lobster, crab, arugula, and elitist, marxist, subversive power and control.

And just for grins, he just appointed his personal chef the "Health Food Czar"!

Obama Family Cook Named Policy Adviser - 07/14/2010
http://www.judicialwatch.org/blog/2010/jul/ob...

'In a comical move even for a czar-happy president who has rewarded dozens of cronies with distinguished titles, the White House has named the Obama’s personal Chicago cook as “Senior Policy Adviser for Healthy Food Initiatives.”

It’s no joke, even though is sounds like a bad one. The Chicago chef’s rapid ascension, reported this week by a conservative Washington D.C. newspaper, has been kept under the radar for the last month. Sam Kass went from being a 20-something, Windy City gourmet cook—privately paid by the Obama’s to feed them—to big-time White House adviser in a matter of months.

In between, Michelle Obama made Kass a “Food Initiative Coordinator” for her new healthy nutrition program which is supposed to eliminate childhood obesity within a generation, especially in the nation’s inner cities. The First Lady claims that childhood obesity is a threat to national security and a crisis equivalent to AIDS and youth violence.

Because it’s such a dire situation, she has convinced her husband’s administration to spend $400 million a year to bring “healthy foods” to low-income neighborhoods and $10 billion to revise a decades-old federal measure that already feeds tens of millions of poor children at school for free.'
__________

A mere $10 BILLION, another paltry $400 million, and another joke of a czar.

What's wrong with this picture? Why doesn't every American family get a czar? Oh wait, that would presume that the Omambas' were American. Nevermind.

Ten bucks says the elitist marxist subversive-in-chief's next czar appoinment -- for the nanny that wipes his marxist anti-American ass -- is named the "diaper-wiper advisor".

Obama didn't create the current economic problems facing America! These seeds were planted very deeply by republicans. Republican business people ripped of the government and purposely manipulated business to cause problems - to give Obama a hard time and to punish us for voting for him. I say stay the course. Stay with the Democrats so that so much money in our country won't wind up in the hands of so few people. When it comes to economics, in a democracy there needs to be a balance of money, so that there will be a balance of power. We need a bigger middle class!

At the rate that our government is running up the debt, there will be no more middle class. The money that they're handing out is being borrowed from our future. The spending spree the current administration has been on amounts to trillions of dollars that has to be paid back someday. Taxing the hell out of the "rich" isn't going to be enough. It's the middle class, as always, that's going to get hammered.

$862 billion here,$700 billion there,$10 billion in the healthcare bill to help unions pay their legacy (pension) costs,$50 billion on the table as we speak for another "stimulus" bill, when the first one was an abysmal failure. Unemployment extensions, cash for clunkers, home buyers credits and now the CBO predicting that the healthcare bill costs will far exceed estimates. All this money that our government is handing out has to be repaid. How are we going to do that and why do so many of us lose sight of this fact? The national credit card is way past maxed. And government gets their money from you and I. We are the ones who are going to get stuck with this bill.

There's no graph on income growth, just videos of the Mac Cow show.

But you claim only up to 2005, huh?

Why, when there's data to 2009!

1- Funny how she leaves out the most recent times with a full Scumbag-0-crat Congress.
2- Funny how she leaves out Obama's "Reign of terror."
3- Given her history, I know she's not Honest or smart enough to include Congress in any graph she made.

In ads, Democrats shy away from own party
NYT: Democratic candidates are not extolling their party’s accomplishments, but rather distancing themselves from their party’s agenda.

I WISH there were a Tea Party in Michigan, but the Republicans are trying to stop it, by saying they are just Democrats trying to weaken Republicans. I guess the Republicans like their stronghold on the "conservative" vote in Michigan. No Tea Party in Michigan without Republican approval.
