Do you think little Adolph would have gone public if he was gay? I don't think so. I don't think it was uncommon for gay men to have wives and children back then (and even today).

That's why old J Edgar the Hoover ruthlessly sought out and dismissed any suspected homosexuals from The FBI even though he was a cross dressing flamer in a long term, gay relationship.
