Editorial: African-American history museums help preserve our stories

In 2015, the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture will open in Washington, D.C., next to the Washington Monument.

Nice witty remark right there, but actually it is neccessary for us to have our own museums, own our own businesses and live in some cases a segregated life from you guys...I mean the Chinese do it without anyone saying they're racist (example, just in case you're that ignorant: "Chinatowns") so why can't we?

That's why segregation was a good system that worked.

in some senses yes, after it was erased we stopped supporting our businesses and communities which is why some are where they are today in our communities
