Obama's budget deficit alone is $1.4 Trillion. What spending cuts?

Not a damn one of them in the whole place has a bleepin' clue how much we really despise them all; not that they really care either, which is the worst part of it = no the worst part is that we'll continue to put up with them all. What a shame so many good people died so that it could come down to this, and on BOTH sides of the aisle.

They obviously need to outlaw all earmarks, especially during a recession.

obama didn't cut massive social programs that funnel benefits to people for not working and not contributing to society in any way and for sucking the taxpayers dry for decades past. obama continues vote buying programs including free cell phones for poor people.

Health Care under the Bacus plan that is not being pushed is front loaded with taxes beung collected for several years before the health care plan takes effect to me it APPEAR as if breaking even. This is a BIG HOAX. After 2015 when it becomes fully implemented the thing will grow quicker than any branch of government spending.

HEY, HEY...those congressmen and women and the president and his cabinet have still not said they will be on this paln. This will keep their CUSHY plans even after they retire.

Are people that stupid to fall for their BS?

What cuts in spending. Laying off 35 meat inspectors that look at foreign beef imports while giving Banks and Brokerage companies hundreds of billions of tax dollars they now admit will probably never be paid back.

Yjis administration like the last one is a BIG LYING JOKE!!!!

Listen. If we are ever going to get a grip on our government, we're going to have to start acting like the employers that we are. The Congress critters work for US, not the central bankers and transnational corportions. What would you do If you owned a company and none of your employees listened to you, they lied to you, didn't do the jobs you gave them to do, and in fact, were actually working for your competition and selling your company down the river as fast as they could? I don't think you'd keep them on and give them a raise!

Well, that's exactly what we've been doing, only in this case, your company is our Federal Government, and your employees are the 435 members in the House of Representatives and the 100 members of the Senate, virtually all of them working for the transnational corporations (the competition) and they have already achieved a hostile takeover of our government on every level and are using the powers of our own government against us in order to take over our entire nation.

What the heck happened to that thing called "the wisdom of the American people?" You don't reward employees that betray you. YOU FIRE THEM! It's the most obvious and immediate remedy. And you don't worry that their replacement may turn out to be as bad. In fact, it's much less likely the replacements will be as bad when they know you will not tolerate such things, that you will not hesitate to fire anyone that lies and betrays your trust. Employees are far more likely to toe the line and actually do their jobs as best they can when they know they can't get away with anything less.

Point taken. When we've voted out congressmen in the past, it's usually been a backlash against only one party. We turned out DEMS in massive numbers in '94, and GOP in '06, but we left the other party off the hook. Democrats like Reid, Pelosi, Frank, Dodd, Rangel, etc. need to go, but so do Republicans like McConnell, Vitter, Graham, Ensign. Vice, incompetence, and betrayal of the public trust need to be purged on both sides of the aisle.

There is opportunity to throw out ALL House members every 2 years; unfortunately Senate election/re-election is staggered so that they can't all be turned out at the same time, thus leaving some incapables in there. I wish for once that we would actually throw out ALL sitting House members regardless of party- which is really on the outside anyway(the party they all really belong to is the we know better than you, and we're the elite) Please, just once in our lives let's all vote for the challenger - who cares what party they are from, if we kick them all out at the same time, nobody in the House will know how to conduct business as usual until someone teaches them; maybe by then, some will realize how screwed up it is. I'd vote for someone with NO PREVIOUS JOB EXPERIENCE over someone in the system but is just a few rungs down the ladder.

I plan on voting against my rep. Dana Rohrbacher next year. I'd be happy to vote Barbara Boxer out of office too if the GOP would put up a serious cahallenger to her. Bill Jones''04 Senate race agaisnt her was a big joke.

so many of the ones that the party puts up (either one)are just like the ones we have now - they are hand picked, groomed, lobbied, funded, and packaged ready to serve - we need a bunch of real Betty the baker, Paul the plumber, Chris the carpenter, Mary the mom, Danny the day, etc., but the way the parties have their machine set up, none of these have a chance - I'm ready to do like the Richard Pryor movie and vote NONE OF THE ABOVE.
