Community will help draft Santa Monica Mountains fire plan
Embers are the enemy, fire officials told a group of Hidden Valley and Lake Sherwood residents who attended a meeting Wednesday night to help draft a wildfire protection plan for homes in the Santa Monica Mountains.

Embers aren't the enemy....the California State Park Service is. They want to build an RV park with fire pits at Malibu Creek State Park the site of one of the worst wild fires in the history of the Santa Monica Mountains. The fire started inside poorly supervised Malibu Creek State Park. See Details at:
http://savethemeadow.com The RV park is officially known as the Reagan Equestrian Campground. The project will impair the view along 7 acres of Mulholland Highway a state designated scenic drive.
