If maxine the mouth waters wasn't enough of a demented douchebag when she went on a rampage slamming The Tea Party next comes Jesse Jerkson's slanderous stupidity. The no content of character duo of Waters and Jerkson define Reverse Discrimination.

I think we've given Martin Luther King enough recognition to last several life times. It's time that his worshippers start practicing what he preached.

The "Rev" Al Sharpton's had his own show on MSNBC for about 10 days now. It's the longest job he's ever had.

just have the pope make mlk a saint and get it over with, tired of hearing the name all the time. He's been dead more than 40 years and everyone of culah seems to think dropping his name makes them special, When is the last time the news reported someone in 'bama seeing mlk's likeness in a dropped dollop of grits ?

Yes he has. Just as Obama held the post of "Community Organizer", Sharpton held one as "Community Antagonizer".

Looking at it,it shows MLK as an ugly MF...Certainly he was better looking in life....some say he got oriental features on this statue..not without good reason..it was Chink stone and Chink sculpture..the same guy who makes MAO monuments//There are many great African American Sculptures here in America. What American would not like the honor to do this work???..But No,Crazy LOONY BASTARDS let Chinks ,come on to sacred DC Mall to bring chink stone, and an Ugly unfinished rock!...What about all the beautiful American Granit???.What about great American artists?.

Not to be,its OBAMA time in the USA,and Patriotism is out..Pride of America is out,...On four acres this monument...it may be a bit much...Bigger that most monuments..BUT,.ITS A .DISGRACEFUL,A CHINK MONUMENT.....

Where I live a organization had a MLK celebration to honor him on his day and only three hundred people showed up out of over 86,000, the showing from African Americans was dismal. They want the city to take over and pay for it now becuase they can't afford it anymore. So I have to wonder where are all the African Americans and why weren't they honoring King and supporting the efforts to do that.

I agree. Instead of African-American it makes him look African-Chinese. That's what you call a "Mao-Mao".

Very Funny.....poor MLK,he never envisioned a Dysfunctional Government to mark his name in history, but more so a Dysfunctional family,of losers who are living off the FAT of MLK!...however the man ,MLK,deserves respect, but that obscenity of Fu Man Chu on hallowed grounds,.is disgraceful!

For all the people who want to interject God or punishment to others who dislike the TeaParty please remember this: The state of Texas is having its worst drought season ever recorded.

So what is the rationale for this?

It is interesting to see that a statue honoring Mr. King has brought out the white robed, the ignorant, the disrespectful and those artnazis who probably believe that the Mona Lisa is (1) a beer commercial or (2) Leonardo da Vinci should not have been a Florentine artist but should have come from Idaho or the country of Africa!

Nothing against MLK but just what did he do besides give a couple of speeches(good ones) and lead a few marches? He caused trouble in most of the places he went with his"flock".I think he was a good man who would be totaly POed to see what has happened to his race and what they have turned into today.
