If the cross is not a "religious symbol" then why is it only the religious freaks are the ones fighting to keep it up?
If you want to rule that religious symbols are okay on public land, that's your right as a justice, but don't pretend for a second that a cross is anything BUT a religious symbol.
I thought this cross was to crucify illegal aliens. You know, more of a deterrent tool than a religious symbol.

Of course it would qualify as a hate crime. I was being sarcastic you nudge, pointing out the obvious hypocrisy on the right for pretending this wasn't a religious symbol all along.
The cross IS a religious symbol no matter how it is being used. I think the Supreme Court got it wrong with this decision, but those who tore it down definitely should be prosecuted.
They made the decision to protect Arlington and other places. If they want to pass something saying no more fine. But this was there for 75 years and was taken care of by Vets, should be grandfathered in. If not yank down Moses in the Supreme ct!! It has no business being there it's not a memorial of any kind.

This had absolutely nothing to do with Arlington. All those crosses and other religous symbols on the tombstones are private property put there with the presumed consent of the member. There isn't a court in this country liberal enough to rule those are a government endorsement of religion.

As for Moses and the 10 commandments, if they're on public property- yank 'em down!

Obviously you haven't been paying attention. Same-sex marriages are now valid in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Iowa, Vermont, California, and D.C..
This difference with the cross is that it is being put up on PUBLIC land, as opposed to any rainbow flags with are on PRIVATE property. BIG DIFFERENCE.
I wouldn't be suprised if one of the "christians" tore it down and is trying to blame it on the athiests or gays. Christians don't seem to have a problem with lying do they.......
Maybe you should shut up and pay attention before running your mouth.

There are more states that recognize the validity of gay marriage than you mentioned and as of now gay marriage may be valid here...it ain't happening here.

No, I'm pretty sure the cross was torn down by some piece of sh*t liberal such as yourself. Just another sore loser!
