What a hoot!
Wrangling for years about this monument all the way up to the SC basing the case, in large part on the fact that this cross was an established fact and not a proposal. Well, it isn't established any more. I suppose the case is now moot and will never be settled but a new case arguing to be allowed to erect a new cruciform monument in this remote and desolate location can begin can now begin.
One imagines that the site will now be restricted lest someone sneak in and build a cross which can then be litigated for another thirty years.
It is time to begin to conclude this particular farce.
