I worked the wreck that you were in. You and your passengers reported at the time that you were not hurt. You refused Medical attion at the scene.

For some reason I don't believe an Officer of the Law would be getting on Topix to comment on here about a vehicle accident. Especially Deputy Wood. But, hey that's just me.

Even if the passengers in the second vehicle said they weren't injured at it, the shock from the accident could have started to wear off and the pain of their injuries started setting in. Not all the time is the pain immediate from an accident when your body is full of adrenaline from what just occurred.

a release form is to cover whoever is working the scene, from a lawsuit later on.this way the person that was involed cannot say they didnt refuse treatment. as for the immediate pain, it may take time to start. but a lot of times it starts hfter they talk with a lawyer. then they see dollar signs and oh yea my back my neck oh yes and my little toe hurts. a lot of times its the money, i can sue them and i wont have to work anymore

Hmm a release is not needed if they say their not hurt (which they did). They also stated this to 911 which is recorded they where not hurt(also to the units on scene), and the statement by "deputy wood" is correct. Also rescue workers where sent for the woman since it was stated she was the one hurt. Also note they where out walking all around on scene for over an hour after the wreak. So trust me if they was hurt they would have known it then. Also going to say your making this up "protruding disc Bulging Disc and another one is 1/2 way ripped all from my neck" As your would been in pain at scene... You would have been in so much pain you would not be up walking around talking to every one on scene, look at the damage on your bumper etc.

P.S: did LPI (are what ever) put a lawsuit against the women? If so that's low.

sometimes it takes hours after an accident to start hurting..I WAS in a small accident and 24 hours later my leg started swelling-just a little- and started hurting but at the time I DIDN'T FEEL ANY PAIN. this happens a lot -been in severals small accidents where maybe the next day I HURT -couldn't move my neck..hey it happens.-

Mr. Newton don't tell welfare when you get your settlement because your foodstamps will get reduced.

I have been reading the posts following Henry's.
We have NOT contacted a lawyer and have no intentions of sueing!
We did not seek medical attention at the scene due to a number of reasons...
we were almost 2 hours from home. We had already been at the wreck for over 1 and 1/2 hours.
We felt that we, if needed, should seek medical attention closer to home.
We were "walking" around as stated by people at the scene, checking on the other driver.
For no other reason than to make sure she was ok.
If any one there noticed....which they apparently did not, some of us did NOT get out of the car.
As for the Foodstamp guy...HAHAHA
We feel bad for the lady that hit us, and am glad she is ok.
But for anyone to make such outrageous comments as have been made, you should first know the people you are talking about!
And you apparently do not.
Our insurance is paying for the medical treatment, not the other drivers.
So this is not a way for us to make money from this.
Hell if it had never happened it would have been a much, much, better thing for all involved.
