Go for it. It may cost a lot of money at first but in the long run we will benefit from it.

This area is fairly remote and it would be difficult to say the least to maintain the panels and keep them from being vandalized or stolen. What about 250,000 solar panels setting along side of roadways with easy access and easy get away. You'd be better off taking the amount of panels that were going to be installed here and set up a lottery. Drawing names and addresses at random and installing say 25 panels on 10,000 homes across the State. Use the roof of the real estate that uses the power directly, instead of lining roadways with them.
