I am saddened that in America this gentleman has been convicted before trial by the people of Santa Rosa. Mr. Jacobs is a great person, wonderful and caring father and husband and for the last seven years has worked hard to deliver the best public health in rural counties when know one else has wanted these positions. He has worked his way through school on his own and is owed the benefit of the doubt. Machines are wrong, the breath machines may not have been calibrated correctly, and this couple placed a call to each other on the road about his driving, how do we know they are not looking for a pay day. Lets follow up in 3 months when the trial is over and see if the family does not go looking for deep pockets. Remember, people want what you've got and they will lie and steal to get it. Mr. Jacobs deserves to be heard, the evidence needs to be shown and his resignation was unfair and probably pre-mature.
