Talk about getting your facts straight; the family with the dog caused this problem. They just didn't want to get a ticket, and pressed the issue instead of being good citizens accepting responsibility for their actions. If a cop is assaulted with pepper spray, they have every right to defend themselves against further attack. You are probably one of those morons that feels they should be able to do whatever they want to on our beaches, including ruining such a wonderful resource by leaving your glass bottles on the beach and not picking up your dog turds. Well, thank the lord you can't! Obviously, no one else is buying into your stupid diatribe as this is the first response in 3 months. I have PERSONALLY watched the rangers doing their job out there and can say from experience that they are polite, professional officers. Even when they have to deal with ignorant, selfish, rabble rousers.
