BP: cap gets some Gulf oil, crude still spews
BP reported some oil was flowing up a pipe Friday from a cap it wrestled onto its broken Gulf of Mexico well but crude still spewed and it was unclear how much could be captured in the latest bid to tame the nation's worst oil spill.

Stop trying to "capture" the oil and just PLUG the darn thing !!!

Exactly! BP should just cap it and then go after it the right way with the alternate well. Don't try to salvage the busted well--it's fried. Just cap it and then try again, but take every precaution possible.
