The Mason/Dixon final hearing time is the only one so far that has had any spectators show up in opposition/support of their proposal. We can all fight over the numbers on either side, but the fact is, it's the ONLY proposal that has divided an entire community.
Opposition killed this thing last time and will again. The questions the Gaming Board proposed to Mason/Dixon yesterday laid the groundwork for another denial.

This is a disgusting idea. A casino at Gettysburg is like putting one at the Vatican or Jeruslaem. These are sacred places to the faithful. So too, is Gettysburg.

When I lived in Gettysburg I had to commute some 50 miles one way to work in Harrisburg and I even had neighbors who commuted to D.C. everyday just because there were no decent-paying jobs in the Gettysburg area. Nice town but it's in dire need of some local jobs so I say bring on the casino and eff all of you nutjobs who think that dirt is somehow "sacred." It's never has been nor will it ever be.
