Darn! I got phone calls this past week to go to the meeting at the Eisenhower Inn to find out about employment. Great! I go down there and find out they will not hire convicted felons.

So why they calling me for my support? They said it was okay if I go to their casinos and spend thousands of dollars, but I just can't work there.

I no longer support the casino. My conviction was 22 years ago. Please don't call me anymore for more meetings and support.

guess maybe you shouldn't have broke the law 22 years ago. Do you want a reward or a free pass? You broke the law. Yesterday or today you are a convicted felon. ALOT of places wont hire convicted felons. For Good reason. Let me guess 1. you were wrongly convicted 2. you didn't do it?

So you want convicted felons to not work? Not get a job? Not support their children and grandchildren? You want convicted felons to go on----------WELFARE?

You are one that complains about people on welfare, but don't want a certain class of people to work....

You have no idea what the crime was...the punishment...or any details. Free pass? A reward? What the hell are you talking about?

Feds won't let convicts work in a casino. Gaming laws prohibit it. As a convict you can't vote or own a firearm. Most places you can't become a police officer or a teacher. That's just the consequences. Move on.

Don't break the law, and you can work wherever you want. Don't break the law, and support your family with any job you want. Don't break the law. It doesn't matter what the hell you did, you did it. Millions of other people don't break laws and survive. I don't give a shit about your "poor me I'm a discriminated felon" life. I know poor people and people on welfare who don't break the law and can't get jobs. You want to bitch people treat you diffrent because you're a felon. Damn right because YOU ARE A FELON. So you may have to settle for working at mcdonalds, or on a constructions site. Each choice we make in life has consequences. Guess job limitations is yours.

Most of the convicted felons I know are much more honest than most politicians. What the hell do all of you self righteous 'perfect' twits expect ex felons to do--return to crime--go on welfare. What a bunch of pathetic losers!

I guess you're not a big fan of Martha Stewart? So would you trust McDonalds since that's where the convicted felons work? Poor me? Lock your doors 'cause you don't want to give rehabilitated felons a job. You are a disgrace to all religions. After reading your comments, I know you don't go to church. Stop the hate and prejudice.

The next time you eat out, remember who cooked your food.
